Green Leaf
We'll begin this tutorial by selecting the "Pen Tool" and changing the Foreground color to green (075a0f). Draw the below shape and go to the next step.
Now that you have your first shape, you can now right click on the layer and select, "Blending Options...". Now click on "Inner Shadow".
  use settings at left
Do not click OK yet. Still more to do.
Now click on "Inner Glow" and change the color to 28b91c.

Do not click OK yet. Still more to do.
  Now click on "Gradient Overlay".
  use settings at left
You may now click OK.
You should now have the following:
Next, select the "Line Tool" and set the weight to 1. Change the foreground color to 138919 and draw a line as I have done below. You will need to add some anchor points to the vector shape and give it a curve as I have done below. For steps in doing this, please see the "a Little Window" tutorial. Now change the Blending Mode to "Color Dodge" and turn the Fill down to 32%.
Now create even more lines to represent the veins of the leaf using the same process as above except this time you can use the "Pencil Tool."
Now "Ctrl" click the leaf layer to create a selection around it and create a new layer. Now select the "Brush Tool" change the foreground color to black and with a soft brush size of 65 darken the top edge of the leaf. I turned the fill down to 35% but you may need to turn it down more or less depending on your taste.

Next, select the "Pen Tool" once again and change the Foreground color to green (0e8c1a). Draw the below shape then drag the new layer so it is below the very first leaf layer.
Now that you have your new layer, you can now right click on the layer and select, "Blending Options...". Now click on "Inner Shadow".
  use settings at left
You may now click OK.
You should now have the following:
Now create even more lines to represent the veins of the leaf using the same process as in steps six and seven.
Next, select the "Pen Tool" once again and change the Foreground color to brown (545210). Draw the below shape then drag the new layer so it is below the very first leaf layer.
Next, select the "Line Tool" and set the weight to 1. Change the foreground color to white and draw a line over the leaf stem as I have done below. You will need to add some anchor points to the vector shape and give it a curve as I have done below. Turn the opacity down to suit and move to step 15.
I then merged all the parts of the leaf and twig and duplicated. Next, I draged the duplicated layer below the original leaf layer and tranformed, colored it black and gave it an "Outer Glow" to serve as a shadow to the leaf.
The Results!!!
As you can see, I created yet another example by adding water and instead of a shadow, a reflection of the leaf was created. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
